Privacy Notice

Who this notice covers

This notice applies to Proactive BIM Governance, trading as [legal business name to be confirmed], as the provider of this website and the Proactive Worksets add-in for Autodesk Revit.

Downloads are distributed through the Autodesk App Store. Autodesk handles the information you give them during a download or purchase under its own privacy terms.

What we collect

We keep this deliberately narrow. In practice that means:

• Details you send us directly through a demo request, feedback or feature suggestion form: name, email, organisation and your message.
• Basic website analytics: pages viewed, referring page, approximate region and device type.
• Support correspondence, retained so we can follow up on a reported issue.
• Limited technical information for site security and abuse prevention: a one-way derived identifier used to rate limit form submissions and detect automated floods. We do not store your IP address, and the identifier is cleared after 30 days.

What we do not collect

The add-in does not upload your Revit models, project data or model content to us. Rule checks run locally in your Revit session.

Why we use it

To respond to enquiries, run beta testing, fix defects, and understand which parts of the product and site are useful. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Retention and storage

Enquiry records are kept while a conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted. Analytics are held in aggregate.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us and we will respond within a month.
